Hi Dejan,

The answer is yes of course!

I hadn’t seen this post yet when I created a post describing how to do this.

You can see that post here:

> [@How to add opencv to the camera-streamer example app](https://discourse.farm-ng.com/t/how-to-add-opencv-to-the-camera-streamer-example-app/51):

> After going through the [Camera Streamer Tutorial](https://amiga.farm-ng.com/docs/tutorials/camera_streamer/camera-streamer-overview), you may still be wondering how you can add OpenCV to your version of the [camera-streamer](https://github.com/farm-ng/camera-streamer) app to perform image processing. Well just like PyTurboJPEG was added to the [setup.cfg](https://github.com/farm-ng/camera-streamer/blob/main/setup.cfg), you can add opencv-python under the install\_requires section. Then it’s as simple as importing in your python file with import cv2 and using the library! Checkout this simple example showing how this is done: [Demonstrate adding opencv to camera streamer example](https://github.com/farm-ng/camera-streamer/pull/6/files) This e…

For anyone looking for more general info on adding/installing dependencies for your amiga apps, see the thread:

> [@Pip install for additional python libraries](https://discourse.farm-ng.com/t/pip-install-for-additional-python-libraries/49/2):

> Hi Dejan, Thank you for using the discourse! The [amiga-app-template](https://github.com/farm-ng/amiga-app-template) is setup to handle the creation of a virtual environment for your app and the installation of the requirements and dependencies of your app. This creates a separate environment and installs the requirements for each app you develop. As described in [Developing Custom Applications | Farm-ng Developers](https://amiga.farm-ng.com/docs/brain/brain-apps#customizing-an-app), you add any requirements to the setup.cfg file under the install\_requires section. When you launch the app, any not-yet-instal…
