GPS sampling frequency is significantly lower than image sampling frequency

  • Please, describe the issues you are seeing ?
    I am extracting the GPS and Image information and noticed that the sampling rate of the GPS is significantly lower than the images.

For example, I have 1128 images but only 288 gps points. I was wondering if this is expected?

In the Recorder settings, I have set the log for every n to 1. (I believe this is the lowest I can go).

hey @earlranario, thank you for your question.

So, because our services are asynchronous and coming from different hardware, we can not guarantee the gps points and the images will be synced, at least not at native recorder app.

If you need it synchronized, I would encourage you to use a multi-client script, pretty much like the one described at the GeoImage example.
