Powering Amiga Brain via Charger + Anderson Adapter (Battery Bypass)

Hi team,

I am setting up a stationary “always-on” dev environment for an Amiga (Brain + 2x OAK-D cameras). I plan to power the system logic via the provided 50.4V 2.0A charger plugged into a fork accessory Anderson port using a barrel-to-Anderson adapter.

Setup Details:

  • Load: ~55W (Brain + Cameras).
  • Mode: E-Stop pressed to disable motors.
  • Goal: 24/7 power without battery swapping.

Questions:

  1. Is it safe to run the system logic indefinitely via the 2.0A charger with zero batteries installed?

  2. Does the internal DC-DC converter (48V to 24V) require a battery for voltage stabilization, or is the charger output sufficient?

  3. Any known issues with back-feeding through the accessory ports for long periods?
