The cable that attached to our Estop switch broke off and the robot could not move because it auto engaged the Estop. So I bought a replacement connector end, and cut and attached a new plug.
My problem is that after driving the robot around for about a minute or two both fuses blew in the battery. This is really odd because we have never blown a fuse, even at max speed or with a heavy load.
Did I connect the new connector wrong? The thing is I feel like if I connected it wrong the robot wouldn’t have moved at all.
I attached: (Pin 1 to Brown) (Pin 2 to White) (Pin 3 to Blue) (Pin 4 to Black)
